Jamie Bergeron's the "Registered Coonass" will make his long awaiting return back to the  Lake Charles area this Saturday Night June 1st.

Contraband Days 2013 is in full swing and is located on the Lake Charles Civic Center Grounds. The festival started on Tuesday April 30th and will end this Sunday May 12th, 2013. Today,  Cajun music will reign supreme featuring a all-star lineup of bands. Update 8:30 a.m.-- All the concerts have been moved to inside the Civic Center Coliseum due to the threat of rain.

Jean Lafitte and his band of pirates will take over the city of Lake Charles tonight.  They will force Lake Charles Mayor Randy Roach and other local area Mayors to walk the plank and it will mark the start of the two week festival known as Contraband Days. The festival takes place in downtown Lake Charles on the Civic Center grounds with carnival rides, food, events and entertainment.

Contraband Days 2013 kicks off this week and will go for two full weeks in Lake Charles.  Contraband Days is located on the Lake Charles Civic Center Grounds. The festival runs from Tuesday April 30th through Sunday May 12th, 2013.  The Cajun music day will be on Saturday, May 13th featuring a all-star lineup of bands.

The Coushatta Crossroads Festival is HERE and it's going on today, April 13th, 2013 in the Pavilllion at Coushatta. It's the final day of the 2013 edition of the Iowa Rabbit Festival in Iowa, Louisiana and lineup of entertainment today is second to none! I will be broadcasting live this morning from the cook-off here on Cajun Radio starting at 10:00 a.m. and the music will start at 11:00 a.m. this morning with John Dale Hebert playing on the cook-off stage.  Then the music will be non stop till midnight tonight

Well it's the second night of the Iowa Rabbit Festival in Iowa, Louisiana.  Tonight is a big night for entertainment starting at 6:00 p.m.
