Contraband Days 2013 is in full swing and is located on the Lake Charles Civic Center Grounds. The festival started on Tuesday April 30th and will end this Sunday May 12th, 2013. Today,  Cajun music will reign supreme featuring a all-star lineup of bands. Update 8:30 a.m.-- All the concerts have been moved to inside the Civic Center Coliseum due to the threat of rain.

Jean Lafitte and his band of pirates will take over the city of Lake Charles tonight.  They will force Lake Charles Mayor Randy Roach and other local area Mayors to walk the plank and it will mark the start of the two week festival known as Contraband Days. The festival takes place in downtown Lake Charles on the Civic Center grounds with carnival rides, food, events and entertainment.

It's the final day of the 2013 edition of the Iowa Rabbit Festival in Iowa, Louisiana and lineup of entertainment today is second to none!
