Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys is coming back to Lake Charles and will be live Saturday night at Yesterdays Night club beginning at 10pm. Steve Riley is coming of the heels of his Grammy nomination for his latest album 'Grand Isle" and this is your chance to see him perform some of the music live!

Legendary Cajun music artist Jo-El Sonnier and Grammy winner Chubby Carrier have teamed up and will be in concert together this Friday January 6th in Opelousas. The concert will take place at the Delta Grand Theatre in Opelousas, Louisiana and will start at 7 p.m. Here is all the info you need to get your tickets to the concert!

The nominations are out for the 2012 Grammys and Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys have been nominated under the "Best Regional Roots Music Album" category for the album "Grand Isle".

We were honored to welcome Grammy-award winner Chubby Carrier to the Cajun Radio studios this morning.  He not only shared his stories about what it was like to win music's highest award, but he shared some of his favorite music with us -- including this Clifton Chenier classic:
