Grammy Awards

The Grammy Award ceremonies are under way and we just received word that The Band Courtbouillon which consists of Wayne Toups, Steve Riley and Wilson Savoy just won the Grammy Award for 'Best Regional Roots Music Album".

The Grammy Awards is this Sunday, February 10th and "The Band Courtbouillon" CD which consists of Cajun Music superstars Wayne Toups, Steve Riley and Wilson Savoy are nominated for a Grammy award.

Yesterday, the Grammy nominations came out and we have learned that "The Band Courtbouillon" CD which consists of Cajun Music superstars Wayne Toups, Steve Riley and Wilson Savoy have been nominated for a Grammy award.

On Thursday November 1st, Grammy award winner Chubby Carrier stopped by the Cajun radio studio's to talk about his brand new CD "Rockin' with Roy". Chubby has toured all of the country and in this interview we talk about how Cajun and Zydeco music is received outside of Louisiana.
