Lake Charles is banding together to help out Louisiana flood victims on August 28th during the Louisiana 1 Flood Relief Concert.

This Sunday, the friends and family of Christy Doga have banned together and are holding a benefit for her in Lake Charles. Doga is suffering from breast cancer and needs help with medical expenses and we all know how expensive that can get!

Southwest Louisiana always rallies behind and worthy cause and we need your help this weekend!  This Sunday, April 7th at the Lacassine Community Center there will be a benefit held for a 17 year old young lady who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The day will be filled with great food, dancing and music all in the effort to raise money for medical expenses for the young lady.  Here are the

Trapper Joe and Trigger Tommy, two of the stars of the the hit show Swamp People, will be making an appearance at a benefit this Saturday December 8th in DeQuincy. The benefit is for a family that lost everything in a house fire and will feature the Swamp People stars along with some great Cajun and Swamp pop artists performing live.  Here are the details:

Wendell Sonnier who was suffering from Burkitt's Lymphoma passed away from the disease in May . A Benefit was already in the works before Wendell's passing but now its need more than ever. The Benefit is to help Wendell's Wife and 3 kids with Medical Expenses.  Here is the lineup and dates of the event:

Yesterday in the Burton Coliseum, you could feel the love in the air and a community coming together to support Holden Gothia.  Southwest Louisiana sure came through as the All-Star Benefit Concert was a huge success!!!

The Blue Iron Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is hosting a Benefit Carwash for Heroes For Holden Saturday from 10am to 3pm at the McNeese Police Department Parking Lot at 4205 Ryan Street.
