Battle of the Boot

LSU and Arkansas game kicks off at 6:15 p.m. tonight and will be televised nationally. They are playing for "The Boot" which is a huge gold trophy shaped like the out line of the state of Louisiana and Arkansas.

The LSU Tigers are looking to rebound after losing a heart breaker to then #4 Alabama in overtime last Saturday night at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. The Tigers will travel up to Fayetteville today to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks and the game will be televised nationally in prime time!

Well football fans, can you believe that the final LSU game is here?  Yes, that's right and Friday's game between LSU and Arkansas will be the final regular season game of the year for the Tigers. This game is also affectionately called "The Battle Of The Boot".  The winner gets a giant trophy in the shape of the state of Louisiana and Arkansas.

A tradition has been renewed. The SEC go smart and moved the LSU/Arkansas game back to the Friday after Thanksgiving.  The past couple years the game has been played on the Saturday after Thanksgiving but, no more!!!
