The New Orleans Saints beat the Tennessee Titans 22-17 yesterday in a nail biter. It came down to the defense to stop the Titans from the five yard line with only five seconds left.  The defense held sacking back up quarterback Jake Locker to end the game.

The Saints are now 10-3 on the season and in first place in the NFC South.  The Saints are also headed to the post season and here is how the scenario played out.

The Saints (10-3) have won five straight and remain in the lead of the NFC South with three games left in the regular season. They clinched a playoff berth when the Chicago Bears lost in overtime to the Denver Broncos later Sunday.

The Saints will now head North to Minnesota to take on the Vikings this Sunday at noon and it will be televised on the FOX network.

Then the Saints will come back to the comfort of the Mercedes Benz Superdome for their final two home games against NFC South foes Carolina and Atlanta.
