Do you have a fever and the only prescription is Cowbell?  Well you better head to a pharmacy for that fever because you wont get Cowbell this Saturday at Cowboys Stadium for the McNeese playoff game.

The NCAA has put out a new set of rules for playoff games and one is that no artificial noise-makers, including cowbells, will not be allowed inside the stadium Saturday.

McNeese State will host its first FCS playoff game in four years on Saturday when the No. 6 national seed Cowboys take on Jacksonville State at 6 p.m. in the second round of bracket play.

With the playoffs, fans are reminded there are a new set of rules that are required by the NCAA.

Artificial noise-makers, including cowbells, will not be allowed in Cowboy Stadium.  Fans trying to enter the venue with cowbells will have them confiscated at the gate.

But get this, the Buccaneers will have the cannon ready to fire every time the pokes score.  So we can fire a loud cannon with a huge boom that shakes the windows of cars and houses in the area but we can ring a cowbell?  LOL  What's next, no yelling?
