This might not be the best week to stumble on this (after the Saints' big dry heave against the Cowboys 38-17).  Still, it's the kind of video that separates the fairweather fans from the diehards.

The guys at Root Five Productions did a parody of the Top 40 hit "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor.  It's pretty catchy, even if the original is a song about ... well, let's just call them "curves." (You can watch the original here.)

It's clearly a local production, shot in front of what looks like Lafayette's Ascension Day School.  "Keep your faith in the black and gold / don't jump on bandwagons," warns the song.  Fine words to live by.

But wait, we're not done yet.  Even though, the song only seems to be a few days old by this point, it already has an acoustic cover done a young grade-school girl.
