The LSU Tigers have made their decision on Myles Brennan’s partially torn oblique muscle. He will not play against the Game Cocks this weekend.

Two true freshman QBs were battling this week to replace the injured Brennan: Max Johnson and T.J. Finley.

Coach O said it was a very close battle, and he wished he could start both young QBs this Saturday:

"It was a very close battle, but at the end, we felt that TJ nudged Max just a little."

Finley is a 6-foot-6, 242-pound true freshman from Ponchatoula, and he was the number one QB coming out of high school in Louisiana in 2019.
