I was so sad to hear of the passing of a great comedy and acting legend as I saw yesterday that Gene Wilder passed away at the age of 83. Gene Wilder was in some of my favorite movies of all time.

I remember fondly the first movie I ever saw that Gene Wilder was in. I was 10 years old and my dad took me to the New Moon Drive-In here in Lake Charles to see his movie "Stir Crazy" with comedy genius Richard Pryor.

Yes, Lake Charles actually had a drive in movie theater. It was located where the New Moon golf driving range is at now located on Highway 14.

So I got to thinking and wanted to share with you my top 5 favorite Gene Wilder movies:
