McNeese Cowboys Move Up Two Spots In FCS Coaches Poll
The McNeese Cowboys played thier first full regular season last Saturday night at Cowboys stadium. The pokes started off a little sluggish offensively but Derrick Milton rattled off a 36 yard touchdown run to give the Cowboys in the first half to give McNeese a 7-0 lead. The pokes went into halftime with a 9-0 lead after the defense got a safety.
Now in the second half, the pokes came out on fire and scored 34 unanswered points to win the game 43-9. The win improved the Cowboys to 1-0.
