On the heels of trying to get ready for the upcoming 2014 college football season, the LSU football program is now having to deal with drama from one of their players.

LSU safety Jalen Mills has been arrested for second-degree battery from an incident on June 4th where Mills allegedly punched a women.  He was booked into the parish jail on a warrant that was obtained by authorities.

LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette issued a statement that said the Jalen Mills was suspended indefinitely from the football team.

Mills has started and played in 26 games for LSU so far in his career.  Last season Mills had 67 tackles and three interceptions.
