LSU Moves Up In Latest Coaches Poll

Week two of the college football season is in the books and the LSU Tigers are sitting at 2-0 after beating up Chattanooga 45-10 last Saturday night.

Last week LSU was sitting at #12 in the AP and Coaches polls but this week the Tigers moved up in the coaches poll.

LSU stayed put at #12 in the AP poll again this week but moved up to #11 in Coaches poll.

There are several other SEC teams in the top 25.  Alabama is still the #1 country in both polls.  Georgia sits at #13 while Auburn is #15.  Tennessee moved up two spots to #23 and Florida sits at #24.

Next up for the LSU Tigers is a road game this Saturday against Mississippi State.  The game is at 6:00 p.m. this Saturday night and will be televised on ESPN.
