The Southeastern Conference announced yesterday the time for LSU football's season opener and yes Tiger fans it will be a night game in Death Valley!

LSU will open up at home on Saturday, September 9th against Chattanooga.  But first LSU will be in primetime the week before at a neutral site.

LSU's season opener is on Saturday, September 2nd at NRG stadium in Houston when they take on BYU.  the game has a very late start of 8:30 p.m. and will televised nationally on ESPN.

Then the next week against Chatanooga, the game will be at 6:30 p.m. in Baton Rouge and will be televised on the SEC Alternate channel.
