So most of the preseason polls are out and the LSU Tigers baseball team are in the top five in all the polls.  Yesterday, they also received another boost of confidence when the  annual league coaches preseason poll released.

The poll revealed that the Tigers were picked by the SEC coaches to win the 2017 SEC baseball championship.  The Florida Gators were also picked to be co-champions.

According to LSUSports.net,

Five LSU players were named to the coaches preseason all-SEC squad, including senior second baseman Cole Freeman, sophomore outfielder Antoine Duplantis, senior shortstop Kramer Robertson, junior outfielder Greg Deichmann and junior pitcher Alex Lange.

The Tigers begin the 2017 baseball season next Friday, Feb. 17 at home when they take on Air Force Academy at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.  The game will be televised on the SEC Network plus.
