LSU Baseball Advances To Super Regional And Will Face UL Ragin’ Cajuns
The LSU Tigers baseball team took care of business in the Baton Rouge regional going 3-0 and beating UNC Wilmington 2-0 yesterday. Now, the Tigers advance to the Super Regional and will face the Ragin' Cajuns of UL-Lafayette starting Friday.
The Tigers are 51-10 overall on the season. LSU has also won seven of their last eight games. The Ragin' Cajuns are 42-21 on the season and beat Rice 5-2 yesterday in the Houston Regional to advance to play LSU in Baton Rouge.
The Super Regional is a best of three game series with game one starting Friday at 7p.m. Then the second game will be Saturday at 5 p.m., and if necessary game 3 will be Sunday.
