Louisiana Express Kicks Off “Downtown At Sundown” This Friday May 16th

"Downtown at Sundown" is back for another year.  The four week concert series begins on this Friday, May 16th and will run for four straight Friday nights in downtown Lake Charles.

On Friday, May 16th, Louisiana Express will perform at 700-800 Blocks of Downtown Ryan Street.

On May 23rd, City heat will perform followed by Roddie Romero & the Hub City All Stars on May 30th.  Then on June 6th Boomerang will close out the four week concert series.

The event is FREE and is very kid friendly.

They also have food booths, art galleries and merchandise at each event.

Beer and Wine sales benefit the Literacy Council of SWLA.  No pets or outside beverages allowed.

In case of rain the event will move inside the Civic Center
