Laissez les bons temps rouler!  It's Mardi Gras time here in SWLA and from here on out, there will be a Mardi Gras parade just about everyday till Fat Tuesday.

Round-up the kids, get your bags or backpacks, grab the lawn chairs and wagons and stake out a spot on the parade route.  It's time to enjoy the parades, balls, great food, king cake and all of the wonderful celebrations of the Mardi Gras season.

However, after all the parades we tend to have more Mardi Gras beads left over than we'd like.  In stead of throwing them away, I've got a place for you to drop off all those unwanted beads.

Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana collects left over Mardi Gras beads, refurbishes them and sells them to help fund their program.  Do you have any extra Mardi Gras beads? All you have to do it drop them off to any Walgreen's location and the Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana will recycle them and re-sale them to various Krewes as their fundraiser next year.

For further information you can contact Geri Landry, President of Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana at 337-433-5662.
