LCPD Investigate Burglary At Immaculate Conception Lake Charles

Lake Charles Police Department confirms to KPLC-TV that a burglary has occurred at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in downtown Lake Charles. The authorities did not reveal a lot of details surrounding the crime as the investigation is currently underway. Meanwhile, the church posted pictures of the suspects on their Facebook page in hopes the public could help identify who they are posting the following message:

Three females broke into Immaculate Conception Cathedral’s rectory this evening and stole personal items. They fled when Fr Rommel came out of his room and confronted them. Police came and a report was filed. They jimmied 2 doors. Everyone is safe.
*edited to add that we have video from our security cameras literally showing them from the time they stopped their vehicle at city hall until they ran back and drove off. They were brazen and persistent!

The Lake Charles Property Crimes Division is heading up the investigation and indicated that they were called out to the church rectory where the crime is believed to have taken place. Please notify the police if you have any information that could help lead to their capture.
