The National Night Out is a chance to get out with family and friends and enjoy so safe family fun.  In Lake Charles, the National Night Out will be this Tuesday, August 1st.

One of the reasons for National Night Out is to strengthen the police/community relationship and for people to meet new people.

There are several events going on in the Lake Charles area this Tuesday night which in some locations will include food and fun activities.

  • The South Lake Charles Watch Groups will hold their event at Glad Tidings church on Nelson Road from 6:00 p.m. until 9 p.m.
  • Clement Place Watch Group will meet at E.D.S. school on Kirkman Street from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Jones Manor Community Building at 1409 St. Mary Drive in Lake Charles from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Villages of Lake Charles, Kingsley Court, Bayou Bluff, High School Park, and Rufus Mayfield, will meet at 1900 Rosco J. Moore Street in Lake Charles from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Claire Gardens Watch Group which is located at 3441 Broad Street will host their event 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
