Join Cajun Radio For Our 4th of July Flag Display To Honor Our Military Heroes [AUDIO]
Independence Day is coming up on Wednesday, July 4th and Cajun Radio has teamed up with Ship To Shore on Lake Street in Lake Charles to raise money for our Wounded Warriors.
The donations collected from this drive will be given in their entirety to the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit, non-partisan organization. Here is how you can get involved in this great cause.
Beginning June 4th, 2012, we will encourage Southwest Louisiana Residents to make a minimum $5 donation to the Wounded Warrior Project at Ship to Shore.
With this donation, the donor will instantly receive a Honorary American Flag Card that displays the name of their military hero of choice.
These will be hung on the wall of honor inside Ship To Shore, 4313 Lake St., Lake Charles.
Additionally, Ship to Shore will purchase a small American Flag for each donation made, and the flags will be included in the Flag Day Display to be assembled the morning of July 1st and taken down Sunday, July 8thth at sundown in front of the Townsquare/Cajun Radio studios on Lakeshore Drive.
So we ask you to help us raise money for soldiers who have made the sacrifice for our independence and our freedom by donating your $5 today and getting your flag!
