Jennings Bulldogs Face Yellow Jackets Of Kinder Thursday Night

Last Friday night the Jennings Bulldogs traveled to Lafayette and took part in the 64th Lafayette Kiwanis Club Jamboree. The Bulldogs took on the Northside Vikings and lost 12-6 to the Vikings.

Well this week it gets real! Week one of the high school football season begins and the Bulldogs will have to travel up to Kinder to take on the Yellow Jackets who were the 2-A state runner ups last year.

The game will be on a rare Thursday night for the Bulldogs. Charlie Williams and the CBC broadcasting crew will begin their 28th year of broadcasting Jennings football. The pregame starts at 6:30 p.m. and the kickoff is at 7 p.m.
