Looking For A J-O-B? Don’t Miss The February Job Fair
Whether you're looking for part-time work, full-time employment with benefits, or interested in seeing what jobs are available make sure you come out to the Quarterly Job Fair on Wednesday, February 21. Hosted by the American Job Center, in collaboration with the Louisiana Workforce Commission this is the biggest fair of the year.
More than 40 employers are expected to participate in this local event, offering a variety of positions and career opportunities. It all takes place inside the Exhibition Hall at the Lake Charles Event Center (900 Lakeshore Drive) from 9:30 a.m.- noon. This Quarterly Job Fair is open to all job seekers living in Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jefferson Davis, and Vernon Parishes. because there is going to be a great variety of positions available and employment opportunities.
No registration is required. Here's what you will need:
- Valid Drivers Licence/Picture ID
- Several copies of your most recent resume
- Business Attire
- Be prepared for on-site interviews
Don't miss your chance to make a great impression and meet employers face-to-face in a casual atmosphere! Get a good night's sleep and arrive early. By the way, Veterans will be given priority access to employers and should arrive at 9 a.m.
There is always enough room for more! The American Job Center is inviting all employers interested in taking part in the Quarterly Job Fair. There's fuss or fees to participate. The job fair is sponsored by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, the Workforce Development Board, and the Louisiana Workforce Commission. Funding is being provided by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
