New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, presented by Shell, will be held from April 28 to May 7, and people, the entertainment line-up this year is stockpiled with a tremendous group of artists! If you've never been, you owe it to yourself to plan a trip to one of NOLA's famous festivals.

The iconic 10-day event celebrates musicians from every genre you could imagine over the course of 2 weekends. Music is a main portion of the festival, but it's certainly not the only reason to attend. Jazz Fest incorporates Louisiana cuisine with two huge food areas with countless booths offering world renown and local craft artisans selling their one-of-a-kind works.

Every year the festival has been in operation, a unique poster is created to mark the occasion and year. The 2023 New Orleans Jazz Fest Poster has been rendered by the one and only James Michalopoulos.  The legendary artist is the only artist who has had the "unprecedented honor" of his art being featured on the convenient posters six times, and 2023 will be the seventh! On his vision for this year's poster, Michalopoulos said,

"My primary inspiration for the poster is the vibrant life of New Orleans and the many particular ways that it shows up"

Jazz Fest will take place at the Fair Grounds Race Course on April 28, April 29 & April 30, and May 4 – May 7, 2023. Tickets are available now, and if I were you, I'd pick mine up soon, especially if you want seats or would like to be anywhere near one of the multiple festival stages. Here's a look at the headliners for the 2023 Jazz Fest!
