Things To Do In SWLA And Lake Charles This Weekend Nov. 10-12

The weekend is here and after a week filled with work, school, and everyday hustle and bustle, we are all ready to get out and enjoy something fun to do. There is a ton of things to do in Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles this weekend.

Saturday is Veterans Day along with concerts, sporting events, and more going on in the area so let's not waste any more time and give you a list of things that are going on in the area.

Clint Black will be live Saturday night at L'Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles. The show gets underway at 8:00 p.m. inside their event center.

The annual Flea Fest will take place this weekend at the Burton Complex in South Lake Charles. Hundreds of vendors will be on hand selling those one-of-a-kind unique items.  Here are the details. 

The final Cowboy Block Party of the season is Friday night at the corner of McNeese and Common Streets in Lake Charles and features the one and only, Chee Weez. They will hit the stage at 7:00 p.m. and the event is free. Here are the details of the concert.

Gator Guns is holding the Lake Charles Gun Show at the Lake Charles Event Center this weekend. It will take place this Saturday and Sunday.

The McNeese Cowboys will have their final home football game of the year this Saturday night when they take on Houston Christian. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. at Cowboy's Stadium in Lake Charles.

Foreigner will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center Friday night. The iconic band will hit the stage starting at 8:30 p.m.

The 9th Annual Veterans Day BBQ event will be held on November 11th from Noon to 7:00 p.m. at the Lake Charles Event Center. This free event is welcome to all veterans and their families. Mayor Nic Hunter will hold the Veterans Day ceremony at 10:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park.
