Things To Do In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend Dec. 1-3

Can you believe that it is already December? We know, we can't either. The holidays are in full swing and that means shopping, shopping work, shopping, work, and then hopefully a break to go do something fun.

That is where we come in. There are concerts, fundraisers, live music, and festivals going on all over Southwest Louisiana. We took the guesswork out of it for you and have made a list of things going on in the area. Here we go!

Christmas Under The Oaks is taking place at Heritage Square on Ruth Street in Sulphur, Louisiana, and takes place on Friday, December 1st, and Saturday night, December 2nd, 2023. Wayne Toups and 90s country band Little Texas are set to perform live. Here are all the details.

Travis Tritt will be live Saturday night, December 2nd at the Golden Nuggets Grand Event Center in Lake Charles. Travis will hit the stage at 8:00 p.m. and here is the ticket info.

The Krewe of Valhalla and Beniot Ford will be giving out free Christmas trees to veterans on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 at the VFW Post 2130 in Lake Charles. Click here to find out all the information on the times and how to get a free tree.

The Caribbean Hut located on Common Street in South Lake Charles will have live music featuring Michael LaVergne, Brad Broussard, Ben Abshire, and Jacob Boudion playing all your favorite tunes.

The Seven Slots Society is holding its 9th annual jingle jeep toy drive and will have Santa Claus on hand. See the flyer above for all the details.

Linda's Lounge on Lake Street In Lake Charles will have live music on both Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday night, Chris Breaux & Six String Rodeo will perform from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and on Saturday, Steven Breaux will be live from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
