Things To Do In Lake Charles And SWLA This Weekend June 23-25

The longest week ever huh? We will tell you what, we think it has been a long one. The first part of the week, Monday and Tuesday, seemed like it took four days to go by.

The good news though is that we toughed it out and the weekend is finally here and time for us to blow off some steam and do something fun. This is where we come in. We did some looking around and found some things that are going on in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana and put this list together for you. Here's what's happening.

Jurassic Quest will be making a stop in Lake Charles on Friday, June 23rd, and run through Sunday, June 25th, 2023. Click here to see all the details about all the events. 

R&B artist Brian McKnight will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center in Lake Charles this Saturday night, June 24th. He will hit the stage at 8:00 pm.

Johnny Jimenez will be at a couple of different places in SWLA this weekend. Friday night, Johnny will be live at Chasers starting at 9:00 pm. Chasers is located on the corner of Lake Street and University Drive in Lake Charles.

Saturday night, Johnny and his band will be live at Linda's Lounge on Lake Street in Lake Charles starting at 9:00 pm.

Brad Brinkley will also be all over the place this weekend. He will be performing live on Friday Night at Nick Guy Ricky’s in Lumberton from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Then on Saturday, Brad and his band will be live at Neches River Wheelhouse from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Then on Sunday, Brad will be live at FatKatz in Sulphur, Louisiana from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The Cajun French Music Association Lake Charles Chapter is having a Saturday night Cajun dance with Donny Broussard at the CFMA building located at 3481 East Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles. The show is from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Swamp Pop Sunday will take place at the Blue Martini inside the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm every Sunday featuring live bands each week.  Here are the details of the shows.
