Things To Do In Lake Charles And SLWA This Halloween Weekend Oct. 27-29
The weekend is here and it's a special one. It's Halloween weekend and there are a ton of parties and concerts going on in Southwest Louisiana and the Lake Charles area. There is also a big homecoming football game this Saturday and live music at different local bar and restaurant venues.
So what to do? We have done some research for you and made a list of things going on in the area. Here we go.
The Cowboy Block Party is Friday night on the corner of McNeese & Common Streets in Lake Charles featuring LAROXX live in concert. The band starts at 7:00 p.m. and it's free to go and open to all ages.
Coushatta Casino Resort is having a Halloween party and concert Saturday night in Kinder, Louisiana. Registration starts at 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. in the Coushatta Entertainment Center. Judging begins at 9 p.m. Then live music starts at 10:00 p.m. with Troy Laz Band.
T-Doug's in Ragley will have a Halloween Karaoke and costume contest. They will be giving away prizes for best costume and best performance plus some great food.
Johnny Jimenez will be live a Tee Na Na's on Kirkman Street on Friday night, and then he will be playing at the Social Club on McNeese Street on Saturday night. Both places are having a Halloween party each night.
Disney On Ice is taking place all weekend in Lake Charles at the Civic Center. They have a performance on Friday night at 7:00 p.m., two performances on Saturday, and one performance on Sunday.
Game2Life has a two-story indoor haunted house located at 3311 Broad Street in Lake Charles. It is going on every day through October 31st, 2023.
The McNeese Cowboys football team game against Northwestern was set for 7:00 p.m. at Cowboys Stadium in Lake Charles. It was announced yesterday the game has been canceled.
