Texas is known for its unique styles of food. They are known for their Tex-Mex, steaks, and Bar-B-Que for sure but there are all sorts of other great foods unique to the Texas culture. But sometimes in our busy lives, we don't have the time to cook so we defer to getting fast food.

Texas is full of fast food restaurants from locally-owned restaurants to national chains. You definitely will see tons of fast food restaurants on every corner in the large cities in Texas. That rings true in cities kike Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio.

The website Financebuzz.com ranked all 50 states and listed the favorite fast food restaurant in every state. Surprisingly the fast food restaurant that is the favorite in Texas is not the favorite in any other state even though this fast food restaurant has branched out to other states.

The fast food restaurant we are talking about was founded in Corpus Christi, Texas and you may know it by the big orange W in the sky. The fast food place we are talking about that was voted Texas' favorite is Whataburger. According to the website, there are 769 locations of Whataburger in the state of Texas alone.

Now here in Louisiana, we have seen the addition of Whataburger restaurants opening up in the bayou state. Here in Southwest Louisiana, we have several. There is one in Sulphur, one in Lake Charles, one in Leesville, one in Deridder, and several in the Lafayette area.
