See The Progress Of Whataburger in Sulphur, Louisiana

It seems like we have been waiting a while for Whataburger to come back to Southwest Louisiana. So imagine everyone's excitement when we all found out last year that a Whataburger would be coming to Sulphur, Louisiana and also a location in Lake Charles, Louisiana,

We saw Whataburger locations already open in Leesville and Deridder, Louisiana. We have been getting ancy here in Southwest Louisiana about when they would start building the ones in our area.

We announced that ground had been broken for the Whataburger location in Sulphur a couple of months ago. Then we all have been busy this Summer with vacations, festivals, and fun and forgot all about it being built.

Well, we were scrolling through Facebook yesterday when we saw some pictures that had been posted on the SWLA Restaurant News and Reviews Facebook page and we really got excited. It looks like the entire building is now up and the parking lot has been graded and ready for concrete.

Wow right? It looks like the new restaurant will be open in no time. So for folks in Sulphur, Vinton, Westlake, and Carylss, get ready because it looks like your Whataburger will be opening soon. We have no word on an actual opening date yet but when we find out, we will definitely let you know.

Now what about the Lake Charles location? Well we saw a billboard hinting when the Lake Charles one will open.

if they stay constant, it should be the next one to be built. What we mean is it looks like they are building one at a time. First was Leesville, then Deridder, and now Sulphur so Lake Charles should be next!
