Popular Ladies Clothing Store Moving Locations In Lake Charles

Lately here in Southwest Louisiana, we have had to report about businesses closing. We have seen several businesses close their doors over the past few months after having no choice but to close.

Several local and national restaurants and sweet treat favorites have closed their doors. Some that come to mind are O'Charley's, all the Kentucky Fried Chicken locations in Southwest Louisiana, Taco Mel In Moss Bluff, and recently K's Frozen Delights And More which was located in Sulphur, LA. Several others closed over the past six months which we hated to see.

Here is some good news though. One of Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana's favorite clothing stores is moving locations. No, they are not closing but they are moving their location.

The store we are talking about is Plato's Closet which is currently located in the Southgate Shopping Center at 2902 Ryan Street in Lake Charles. According to a sign they have posted inside the store and reported by Discovering SWLA, they will be moving locations after the first of the year.

The popular clothing store will leave its current location on Ryan Street in January of 2024 and will be moving into the old Lane Bryant location which was located next to Marshalls and Ross in the Target shopping center on West Prien Lake Road.in Lake Charles.

So take a deep breath, exhale, and relax, Plato's Closet is not going anywhere, just moving to a new location in Lake Charles next year. Here is the post by Discovering SWLA.
