Parts Of Lake Charles Experience Power Outage This Morning, Jan 9

We are getting reports that parts of South Lake Charles are experiencing power outages this morning, January 9th, 2024. It looks like the power outages are located in the area just South of the Prien Lake Park.

We went to the Entergy power outage map and have confirmed the outages. It looks like the outages are around the Lake Charles Country Club to the West and extend down Lyles Peters Road and Country Club Road to Ihles Road.

Then to the South, the power outage extends to parts of Weaver Road and Nelson Road South to Country Club Road. It also looks like power is out on West Gauthier Road from Big Lake Road to Nelson Road.

Weaver Road power is out from Country Club Road down South to West Lincoln Road in South Lake Charles. Here are the outage maps.
