May Fest Happening This Weekend In Leesville, Louisiana

Springtime is here and you know what that means! it's festival time in Southwest Louisiana and such is the case up in Leesville, Louisiana for the Mayfest.

Mayfest, the winner of the Louey Award for Festival of the Year, takes place every year in Leesville, Louisiana with live music, food, and fun for the entire family! Mayfest is held in historic downtown Leesville and this year it will take place on May 3rd & 4th, 2024.

The actual location of the festival is S. Third Street in Leesville, LA on the steps of the courthouse. Once again it's a free event and folks attending are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy great food, children's activities, and great live music for two days!

There are lots of things to do when you're not singing with your favorite band, like start your day with a delicious Lion's Club Pancake, let your inner child (or actual child) create a chalk masterpiece, shop for that perfect something from vendors throughout the region, and eat all that festival food!
