Lake Charles, Louisiana - One of Southwest Louisiana's favorite weekends is officially here. The 2026 Marshland Festival is set to get underway on Friday Night at the Lake Charles Event Center, and we've got things you should know before you head out to this year's festival.

About The Marshland Festival
The Marshland Festival started in Hackberry more than 30 years ago at the Community Center. Since then, it’s grown into one of Southwest Louisiana’s biggest festivals! The Marshland Festival features a ton of local talent while also welcoming a few big-name acts from across the country.
It's not all about the music, though. Inside the event center, you’ll also find delicious food, cold drinks, and plenty of local arts and crafts to check out.
Even though it’s grown, the Marshland Festival still gives back to its roots. Money raised supports Hackberry schools, church groups, youth programs, and other community projects throughout Southwest Louisiana.
This year's Marshland Festival lineup is LOADED with local talent, and a few artists that you might get to hear for the first time.

What to Expect Inside the Event Center:
- There will be a metal detector upon entrance (NO Guns or Knives)
- There is a clear bag policy
- You can use CASH or CARD to purchase food or drink tickets
- No outside food or drinks will be allowed inside
