Louisiana’s Super Bowl Snack MVP Is Tortilla Chips

With Instacart leading the data search, we wanted to see what people are really buying for the big game. Chips and dips didn’t just win, they ran away with it. Tortilla chip orders jumped more than 100 percent compared to a normal week. Salsa was right behind, and shelf stable dips saw a massive spike too.

Potato chips also had a good showing, but tortilla chips ruled the table, especially here in Louisiana. That tracks. Chips equal salsa, queso, guacamole, and my favorite...Bean Dip

Buffalo Sauce is a top contender during Super Bowl Week aswell. Frozen chicken wings are on the rise too, with orders more than doubling around game day.

The New England Patriots will face off against the Seattle Seahawks in a rematch of their 2015 showdown (I totally had to search that on the Internet). The Entertainment lineup is pretty decent this year. Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show, and Green Day will start things off during the opening ceremony.

In my opinion it doesnt matter what team you are cheering for, just know that here in Louisiana, tortilla chips better be on the menu. If you’re hosting, you might wanna grab an extra bag or two. They’re gonna disappear fast.
