Lake Charles Native To Compete For Miss Louisiana USA 2024

Southwest Louisiana received some pretty exciting news today as one of our very own will be competing for Miss Louisiana USA 2024. The Miss Louisiana USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Louisiana in the Miss USA pageant.

This isn't the first time Southwest Louisiana has had an entrant into the Miss Louisiana USA pageant and it certainly won't be the last one! This is an incredible feat!

Currently, Sylvia Masters is the Miss Louisiana USA. Sylvia is a native of Houma. She is a graduate of Nicholls State University and a News Anchor at KLFY News 10 in Lafayette.

This year, Lake Charles' own Jaide Navarre will be representing in the Miss Louisiana USA 2024 pageant. Jaide made the announcement Monday Morning on her Social Media accounts. Even sweeter, the announcement is made on her birthday!

Navarre is a Lake Charles Native who graduated from St. Louis Catholic and attends McNeese. Jaide is also a Cowgirl Kicker at McNeese.
