Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - The weekend will be here before you know it. And for Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana, we are smack in the middle of festival season, with three different festivals set for July alone in the area.
What are you looking to do? Go to a festival, take in a concert, or looking for some family fun? Here's what's going on in the area.


The 2026 Coushatta Crossroads Festival will be taking place in Kinder, Louisiana, featuring the who's who in Cajun and Zydeco music. The lineup features 10 of the biggest names in Louisiana music. Check out the lineup HERE.

The Randy Rogers Band returns to Lake Charles for a highly anticipated performance this Friday, July 10. Randy Rogers will perform at the Grand Event Center at Golden Nugget Lake Charles, taking the stage at 8:30 pm.

L'Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles is having a 70s pool party this Sunday, July 12, 2026. It will feature the bands Orleans, Firefall, Atlanta Rhythm Section, and Jefferson Starship. The schedule for each band is:
1 pm Orleans
3 pm Firefall
4:30 pm Atlanta Rhythm Section
6:30 pm Jefferson Starship

Yogi Bear Jellystone RV Park and Resort is having its big birthday bash this weekend, going on from July 10-12. They will have carnival games, clowning around, birthday cake, and live music with Brad Brinkley. Brad and his band Comfort Zone will take the stage on Saturday, July 11th, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm under the pavilion. You don't have to be staying at the park to go to the festivities or concert.
