Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Starts Tonight With Big Lineup
🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Louisiana — Y’all it’s that time again. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Starts Tonight!, and I am about as excited as a fat kid with cake. This thing runs March 2nd through March 22nd, and let me tell ya… this lineup is stacked like a plate of crawfish and corn.
I already grabbed my tickets to see Cross Canadian Ragweed on March 16th, and I ain’t even sorry about it. Been waiting a long time to see them in concert and im so excited they are back together. If you’ve never been to RodeoHouston, it’s more than just music. It’s rodeo action, fried food that probably shouldn’t be legal, boots, hats, and folks from all over Texas and Louisiana having a big ol time.

Man… that’s a dream list right there. You got old school country, Texas country, pop, rock… little bit of everything. Perfect reason for a road trip from Southwest Louisiana. Load up the truck, make a Buc-ees stop and enjoy some entertainment.
Tickets are still out there if you wanna go. Trust me, it’s worth it. Some of my best memories with friends and family came from nights at RodeoHouston. Big lights, loud crowds, boots stomping… just good times.
If you see me walking around in a Gator 99.5 shirt, come holler. I’ll be the one grinning ear to ear waiting on Ragweed to hit the stage.
