Golden Nugget In Lake Charles Now Has Weekly Swamp Pop Concerts

Do you love Louisiana music like Cajun, Zydeco, or Swamp Pop? We know you do! Back in the day, you had no problem finding places to go watch and dance to the great sounds of Louisiana music.

Whether it was a nightclub, dance hall, or VFW, there was always a great local Louisiana band performing live somewhere. The only place it seems nowadays you can see some Louisiana music is at a festival.

Well, the good ole days are back as the great folks at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles have brought back Swamp Pop Sundays to Lake Charles. Swamp Pop Sundays were a staple in Lake Charles and the old Yesterday's Night club where Walk-ons is now was the home of it.

Now every Sunday you can get your dancing shoes on and go out and enjoy some live Swamp Pop music every Sunday here in Lake Charles. Go out and sing and dance to all of your favorite classic swamp pop hits.

We know what you are thinking! Wait it's on a Sunday and I have to work the next day. Not to worry my Louisiana friends, Swamp Pop Sundays are from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm each Sunday so you can go dance and enjoy yourself and still get home at a decent time.

Each week, Swamp Pop Sundays feature Louisiana Express with special guests. So make plans to head over to the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles for Swamp Pop Sundays which takes place inside the Blue Martini from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
