Don't be surprised if you spot The Grinch flying in the sky somewhere in Louisiana. Just in time for Christmas, the Whoville prankster has flown into Cajun country to stir up a little bit of holiday excitement. Look to the sky, you may catch a glimpse of his green fur whizzing on by in a paramotor. Boudreaux and Thibodeaux spotted a green dot wearing a Christmas hat aggravating the gators in the swamp and they wanted to know Who Dat? So, they called 911.

Meanwhile, KPLC TV was able to catch up to the grumpy ol' rascal to find out what he was up to. Turns out, Boudreaux and Thibodeaux's gumbo and cracklins are safe! the Grinch isn't planning on stealing our Cajun Christmas after all. Matter of fact, the man in the costume is just having some fun and spreading lots of Christmas cheer along the way.

Shaun Hayden, of Oakdale, LA. told the local news “This is just something I do around Christmas time.” Hayden added. “Typically, anytime, really, in the month of December.” An he's getting a ton of attention as he flys by unsuspecting motorists. People are overcome with amazement as they pull out their phones to capture the famous Christmas character showing off his aviation skills.

Shaun explained to KPLC, that he could never afford a plane ticket when he was younger, but was always passionate about flying. He went on to say that it's not unusual for him to dress up for Christmas, but he usually sports his St. Nick suit. This Christmas he thought he'd change it up a little saying “Typically, I dress up as Santa Claus, and I’ve been doing that pretty much ever since I started flying, and I figured I’d try something different, especially with the day and time we’re living in today. The Grinch fits the theme." I'd say he hit the nail on the head with that whole concept!

Christmas is still a few days off, so there is still plenty of flying time for Haden. As long as the weather cooperates, The Grinch will be taking to the skies. Boudreaux and Thibodeaux are sure gonna be on the lookout. And if I were you, I'd be keeping an eye out too! Shout out to Shaun for going the extra mile to spread some much-needed joy this Christmas in SWLA.
