Gov. Edwards To Hold COVID-19 Briefing This Afternoon
COVID-19 rates are getting worse as scientists and disease experts warned in August. The winter months are approaching and holiday travel is making the infection rate around the world worse by the day. Though it's hard to stay away from family during the holidays, most experts are begging people to do just that. Stay home.
Governor Edwards will be holding a briefing at 2:30pm today. More than likely, Louisiana's governor is going to issue holiday travel warnings and statewide COVID-19 stats. In addition, the virus has accelerated across the county. Louisianans will likely be asked to adhere to mask mandates, especially over the Christmas holiday.
Tune in, mask up, and stay well!
