Busy with Christmas shopping and getting things done at work before you take off for the holidays?  Bet you didn't think about the trash and garbage pickup schedule that might effect you.

We all have those boxes and wrapping paper left overs after the big man Santa comes and you need to throw that stuff away.  Well we took out all the guess work in knowing when your trash and garbage will be picked up this holiday season.

Our buddy Jason Barnes from the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury was kind enough to send us the information for Calcasieu Parish trash and garbage pickup.

Trash collection services will not be altered for residents living in unincorporated areas of Calcasieu Parish.  Both Waste Management and Jim Bill will continue normal collection services during the following two holiday weeks.

All Police Jury departments will be closed on Monday, December 26th, in observance of the Christmas Holiday and the following Monday, January 2nd, in observance of the New Year’s holiday.  Offices will reopen on the following Tuesdays for each holiday (December 27th, and January 3rd.)
