Dustin Lynch Asks Mike Soileau For His Autograph At Lake Charles Concert
Country music sensation Dustin Lynch made a stop in Lake Charles over the weekend for a big concert. Dustin played at L'Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles on Saturday night to a sold-out crowd.
Gator 99.5 gave away tickets and meet & greet passes on the air to our listeners and last Saturday night, Mike Soileau and his wife met up with all the listeners to give them their prizes.
The meet & greet was at 7:00 pm which was an hour before the concert. All our listeners had the opportunity to go backstage, meet Dustin, get an autograph and take a picture with him.
Well when I walked up to Dustin, he saw my Gator 99.5 shirt I had on. We talked for a few minutes and I reminded him about how Gator 99.5 brought him in concert around seven years ago for our Taste Of Country Christmas tour in Vinton, Louisiana at the Texas Longhorn.
He said II do remember that. Then Dustin said, Hey I have a bar onstage and I would like you to go up on stage with me and sign it. I was like HUH? He said I can't thank you enough for playing my music and when I meet the folks who play my music, I want your autograph on my bar.
I am guessing after the tour is over, he is going to take that bar and put it into his house. So my wife Christie and I went on stage and signed his bar.
I signed my name with Gator 99.5 next to it and also wrote Lake Charles, La to represent our area. I have been on the air for almost 32 years and have never been asked by an artist for my autograph. There is a first time for everything I guess.
Pretty cool experience. Thanks Dustin Lynch!
