CPSO Hosts National Night Out
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will be hosting “National Night Out” activities at Prien Lake Park in the Indian Bay Pavilion in Lake Charles on Tuesday, August 2 from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m.
The CPSO mobile command center, motorcycles, a robot, the Forensic Investigation Unit mobile van, the CPSO Bearcat, boats and a patrol car will be on display for viewing. There will also be deputies from several divisions of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office available to answer questions the public may have and to provide additional information about their division.
Free hot dogs and cold drinks will be served.
“This is a family event free to the public,” says Sheriff Tony Mancuso. “It is a wonderful opportunity to promote crime prevention and community camaraderie, as well as, to meet the deputies who serve you.”
This event is sponsored in part by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury.
