City Services Schedule For Memorial Day

In honor of the Memorial Day Holiday the city services schedule has changed for next week. Don't bring a bunch of crab shells to the curb Sunday evening and expect the garbage men to pick them up Monday.

The City of Lake Charles will observe the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 27. Besides all city non-Besides all city non-emergency offices There will be no trash or garbage collection on that day. Trash and garbage normally picked up on Monday will be rescheduled for pickup on Tuesday, May 28. Trash and garbage normally picked up on Tuesday will be rescheduled for pickup on Wednesday, May 29.Thursday and Friday routes will remain on their regular schedules.

All other services of the Department of Public Works and other City departments will also be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of this Holiday but will resume regular working hours on Tuesday, May 28.
