The Calcasieu Parish School Board (CPSB) members amended the long-standing uniform policy headed into the 2022-23 school year. Tonight during the CPSB meeting, Tuesday, July 12, 2022, school board members voted to officially add blue jeans (shades of blue may vary) to the existing uniform policy.

This is certainly good news for students in Calcasieu Parish, mainly because it gives students and parents more options to wear throughout the year. As students ready themselves for the new school year, they will get some extra leeway in their wardrobe selections. Of course, there are going to be some specific conditions by which jeans will be allowed. So, students and parents/guardians should check out these "new uniform guidelines" for themselves.
