Barbe Football Hosts New Iberia Tonight In Lake Charles

The Barbe Buccaneers look like this might be a rebuilding year after their 1-3 start on the 2015 season. The Buc's only win on the season was against St. Louis. Last week, Barbe entered District 3-5A play and hosted Acadiana here in Lake Charles.

Acadiana is the reigning Class 5A state champions! The Buc's gave it a good effort but came up short losing to the rams 41-35. The loss put the Buc's at 1-3 and 0-1 in district play.

Tonight the Barbe Buc's will host New Iberia in Lake Charles in their second district game of the season. New Iberia are 2-2 on the season with wins against Westgate and district foe Lafayette last week.
