Babineaux Sisters — Kids In Cajun Music [AUDIO]

Gracie and Julie Babineaux, two sisters originally from Forked Island now living in Meaux Louisiana have put out their first Cd self titled the "Babineaux Sisters". Let me tell you it's really good. The phenomenal thing is that they just kids. Gracie is 13 and Julie is just 11 years old.

In their young career, they have worked with the likes of Wayne Toups, Steve Riley and Jamie Bergeron. how is that for a resume already? Here is a cut from there album. You want to check this out!

The new CD has 10 cuts on the record. Nine of the songs are in French and one in English. Some of the highlights of the Cd are a remake of "Madame Sosthene" and "Old Violin" mad famous by Johnny Paycheck but this one is all in French.

Here is one of the cuts of the album called "Chene Vert". A beautiful acapella intro and a great waltz. Check it out.
