Update: 7:08 p.m. - All lanes of traffic are now open for Interstate 10 westbound at mile marker 31.

As of 6:18 p.m., the Lake Charles Police Department has reported that both westbound lanes of Interstate 10 at mile marker 31 are blocked due to a vehicle accident involving an 18 wheeler.
