8-Time PRCA Bull Riding World Champion Donnie Gay Visits Cajun Radio Studio This Morning

This morning, we got a treat as 8 Time PRCA Bull Riding World Champion Donnie Gay stopped by the studio to talk with me.

We discussed his career that spanned from 1972-1989 as a professional bull rider and then his transition into the television broadcast booth to the big Bull Riding event this weekend at the Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles.

The 1^st Annual Don Gay Championship Bull Riding Tour is bucking into Burton Coliseum for a weekend of rank bulls, high scores and big wrecks. Beginning nightly at 7:30pm, the event showcases some of today’s most promising bull riders as they face-off against the most famous animals in the business.

General admission tickets start at $12 for adults and $7 for children. Various reserved seating options are also available, including VIP seats on the arena floor for an action-packed evening coupled with dinner catered by BBQ West, Jags Bistro, Rabideaux’s and Seafood Palace.
